Looks clean, all things considered. I wouldn't be surprised if the mileage were accurate to be honest.

"Vehicle details - 51,561 miles - not actual."

Most of them say "not actual". It's their way of saying that they aren't going through the trouble of verifying the miles on a 25 year old car.

It's also before they were required by law to be mileage verified.

JHM "BA7" Serial number.

Typical early 86 Accord imported from Japan. :D

Gold valve cover too.

Hahaha, I thought that was what you meant in the first post after I commented. That car has had some serious sitting time, so would it even be worth it?

Cars that have been sitting are less of an issue than you think. My 3gee sat for at least 4 years between use. That's how long I owned it before driving it. My Nissan truck sat 2 years before I started driving it the first time, and about a year and a half the second time. My Jeep Cherokee sat a year before I drove it. I'm not talking about time it was driven to the store once a week, I'm talking about sitting without moving. The kind of sitting in which rodents move in and take over.

i don't think charlie means 4 years as "serious sitting time"
