ATE PremiumOne Slotted Rotors

I already did a search to no avail. So I found out I can get these rotors for $24 each on a closeout deal, which is a tad bit cheaper than I can get Brembo blanks from Amazon. I plan on pairing them with Hawk HPS pads. I know most people here put their word on the Brembos, but it seems that people with other cars speak highly of the ATEs. Has anybody had any experience with these rotors? My question is, should I get these or should I stick to Brembo blanks? I do a lot of "spirited" downhill mountain driving and I plan on running in SCCA Autocross, if that's important.

As far as I know, ATE is good stuff. They sell it for German cars, so it should be just fine for Hondas.

if tirerack sell them they should be fine. if you want to upgrade you can get some 88-89 LX-i or SE-i knuckles so it will upgrade you to 10.3 inch rotors

Well, I'm now convinced enough to purchase the ATEs. But I'll keep that suggestion in mind. It just depends how lazy I'm feeling when I have the time to do this lol

So after a seized caliper bracket pin on the driver's side, a brand new caliper that had a faulty bleeder valve, and a seemingly failed brake bleeding job that ended up fixing itself, the new setup feels much better than stock, namely in the initial "bite" and feel :D

if tirerack offer them they should be excellent. if you want to update you can get some 88-89 LX-i or SE-i knuckles so it will update you to 10.3 inches motoring rotors. . . . . . . . . .
