86 accord lxi ac blows 10 amp fuse when turned on

Where should i look for why my 86 accord lxi keeps blowing the 10 amp fuse #5 when i turn on ac? Even when engine is not running.i have had some issues with the fuse block low beam headlight fuse not making good contact.how do you remove this fuse block so i can check it more thoughly for any shorts? does it have releace buttons or is it screwed in? thanks for any comebacks

Ac clutch is probably stuck shorted. I would unplug it first just to try real quick.

If you do take the fuse box out unhook the battery for safety.

To check for a burnt a/c clutch coil you can unplug the compressor (single wire right above the compressor) replace the fuse and turn it on. If it no longer blows the fuse you need a new clutch. If it still blows there is a short elsewhere
