well this is her, a 1989 Accord LX, automatic, about 300 grand on the clock, PERFECT maroon interior, all 4 mud flaps and some rattle can black lol

Altho she has been through allot I love this car. My pops had one first when I was a kid and I loved it, altho he had the LXI hatch, we share the same color schemes. So I guess thats why I have some weird sentimental attachment too this thing, It runs pretty dang good altho its been taking alot longer too warm up in the mornings. Descent gas mileage, overall a good deal for 950 smogged and tagged, ready too roll

Well this is the beginning of my project thread, watch me screw things up :bandance: haha

I will try and take allot of pics because I know you guys are picture fanatics, heres a few as of now

she isnt much of a looker, but I have seen allot of your guyses builds and I know what I want:rockon:
I know, I know, I have the wrong year running light on the driver side, also I have miss matched trim on the driver side (im guessing a side swipe?) anyways ill get those soon.

the list- lowering springs, matched by hihats so i can keep regular sized shocks, SI rims or blades, new paint, lips front and back, maaayyybbbbeeee a motor swap

^this is all based on idea, no way can I afford all of this at the moment

should be posting progress soon..... paint in the near future

looks like the hood is sun damaged, but the sides look alright. Nice base car to start a project, are all 300k miles on the auto transmission?

yea there is sun damage pretty bad on the hood, and roof, the trunk is allright. The guy I bought it from said it has a rebuilt transmission on it. Who knows how true that is. But as of now It shifts nice and smooth. I plan on painting it very soon, {within a month}

Have you tried a decent wax on the good paint? Best way I have found to tell the paint quality paint vs the sun damage paint quality lol.
