k-726&k-728 Weber Help

OK, so I found a new Carb from a guy, its a k-726 kit. Dgev for a civic. Now I need the k-728 for my 89 accord, question is, for the money I'm getting it for (cheap) can I use the Carb and just change the base? Is the Carb the same and the mounting blocks different? Any help would be great!

I used a 3/8" plate of aluminum scrap from a local place that makes fences and gates. Traced out the parts and made it with a table vise, a cordless drill, and a metric tap set
