Newbie from Austin

Greetings to All! I'm Adam and I am the proud new owner of an '88 Accord LXi in Austin, TX. The previous owner was a forum member, though I'm not sure what his handle is. Did a quick machine polish of the paint and back to black on exterior trim. The car is in pretty good shape, about 164K miles on it. It does need a muffler (on order) and new tires (as soon as the muffler is on), but other than that, just about everything works. There does seem to be a small oil leak; I'll be cleaning the engine bay tomorrow to try and isolate it. Looks like the valve cover gasket is the source, but can't really tell yet. I'm looking forward to being part of the enthusiast community as this car was a blast to drive home!4723

Welcome from Ohio. As far as I can tell from your photo, the body on your car looks good, at least no rust. I always envy folks in southern states because they don't have to drive on winter roads that have had snow/ice melting chemicals dumped on them.

I was a fan of 88 Accord LXi, but i have to only collect the pictures because i can not afford this in our country because our government have some problem wi (http://www.1personalinjurylawyers.com/lawsuits.html)th this, so wish you happy driving.
