I've heard of the A2, A5, B, and Z models. Are there any other variations? Please include which cars they were in too.

Right the ones I know about are:-

B20a (DOHC) JDM 3rd gen Accord

B20a2 (DOHC) Euro market version of the B20a (3rd gen accord)

B20a7 (DOHC) Euro market version of the B20a (3rd gen accord)
Lower power version.

The B20a5 is from a later version of the prelude and I think the CRV has a version of the B20 (??) too.

What's the i-VTEC CRV motor? Is it another B20x or K series? I've seen these things, I swear to god I'm not crazy. Has variable timing stock!! REET!!@#1

I also want to point out that the B20A3 is SOHC and dual carbed.

So the Japanese 3G B20 is only known as the 'B20A'? And any engines that have numbers aren't JDM spec?

B20A3 - 88-89 Prelude
B20A5 - 88-91 Prelude
B20A - 88-91 Japanese Prelude
B20A - 86-87 Japanese Prelude (might have been on 83-85 also), Japanese 3g Accord
B20B(#?) -99(i think) CRV
B20Z(#?) 00+ CRV

the 2 B20A engines are not the same.... most places will carry the b20a from a 3g prelude, not the 2g lude/3g accord version

I'm not sure on the Euro market engines, so i can't verify B20A2 and B20A7, although it wouldn't suprise me...

as a general rule, the numbers are added on for the US market... although i believe that the Integra Type-R's had a number at the end, JDM or not...

Realy B20A2 and B20A7 are Euromarket 3rd gen accord engines, diference between them - B20A7 with catalitic converter and oxygen sensor (little beat less power), B20A2 - without catalitic 'n' without oxygen sensor (makes 101 kW@6k rpm,

P.S. Sorry if I write not clear (English is'nt my native language...:)))

b20a7 is prelude engine to europe market, never accord.
