this is kind of a bump from a few months ago but heres where im at with this my car is running due to "ghetto rigging" but i obviously narrowed down the issue and thats where you come in........
fuel pump works ( i know this because the car runs when i ran power to it with a toggle switch directly into fuse box)
fuel pump relay works ( i bought two new and two at the junk yard and it still wont start with out my ghetto wire)
so what do i do now. i was thinking its more then likely a short some where but i remember reading something about a blue wire under the hood some years ago when doing a fuel pump and i was just looking for a reference. This is a 88 Auto Carb
