Does anyone know if a full size (14") rim will fit in the well of the trunk on a coupe?? I had a flat the other day and the donut SUCKS; it is worthless. I was in a hurry, so I didn't check out the possibility of putting a factory 14" rim with tire in the well and having the board still fit over it. If the jack and tools don't fit in there, then I can live with that. I just wanna full size spare, and I want it to fit in the well.

You could probably fit one but i doubt in the space below. It may fit but would stick up higher than the floor level. I want to have my spare 17"(thanks to sears) in the trunk somehow but i just dont have any room with all my stereo stuff. Im gonna try something in the spring if i decide to move the amps the the trunk lid.

yeah, it fits. When I got my new wheels, I placed a stock in the trunk. Just turn the screw (I don't know the technical term) over and use the other end. There are notes on the screw saying "spare use this end" and "full size use this end" or something to that effect.

Yes, ssophab is right. The stock rims do fit in the spare tire well. I think the owners manual should show you how to put it in correctly...
Peace out..

That would be most crunk!!! Especially if Honda actually made that top screw/tie down thingy ma bob to hold the donut or a full size spare. :flash:

The stock tire will be taller than the spare so it might stickup higher, but yes, you can use the same spacer and screw down thing to secure the stock tire.

Yeah i bought a spare 13" wheel...the carpet sticks up a bit, but it holds stuff in on the sides instead of it sliding all over the place.

if oyu're using a 14" rim with a tire on it, it won't fit witout a sever bump in the center. I just re-designed my trunk a few months ago when i put in my subs/amp, and i wanted to put a full size spare in there, but there was no way it was fitting in there with my new plywood floor board. It raised it up about 1.5 - 2 inches. If you don't mind it and you still have that factory piece of particle board in your trunk, then the wheel will fit widthways, but it will raise up the floor by a few inches.....my .02
