I'm redoing my Leather faced interior with a Graphite color kit from California to better match the exsisting doors, carpet and plastic parts. If anyone is interested I think the quality and fit is good, not perfect but a lot better than the dried out originals. Removed and installed them myself for less then a $1000, which seems much cheaper then other I found on line. Contact me if you want the info on where to get them.

Can we get a link to where you got those? They look great.

Yes! Definitely post up that vendor for us. The covers look factory and even the super expensive covers often don't do that. You must have spent days massaging them to get them to look right. Very nice work!

I'm working on it,
I'll post the vendor as soon as I get a answer from him. I'm hoping he'll give 3Geer's a discount if we can send him a lot of business.

you may get them to shrink a litte bit for a better fit with a heat gun. there is a process to make it shrink to fit. those look awesome. i want to redo my sei seats black.

forthe rest of you guys intrested in leather seates beware, the sei seats are a little different than the rest of the cars. they are a little thicker and have lumbar support

Ok, To anyone interested in a Leather seat kit, I have talked with the makers of my Leather seat upolstery of which he explained that he did not keep a pattern of them in his inventory. He said he didn't think they would have enough demand for them. Oh well, he did say they can still make more with the same format that they did mine, which is; you send yours to him, they take them apart and make new ones using yours as the pattern. This adds additional cost to them but should still be much more reasonable than others, probably still under $1000. Give them a call and tell them Corey SEi coupe, sent you from the 3Geez site.

50765077507850795080Here are my seats installed finished this week after replacing the bose stereo and amp, but not the speakers.

The fash pictures look funny colors] differences, the seat color in real life look much better, I think the flash brings out any slight differences more than natural light.

Sooooooo clean!

Congrats again man, how many miles?

And is the exhaust original?

107K miles, yes the exhaust is close to original, previous owner had a aftermarket muffler and tailpipe, so I checked with Honda and they no longer make the sei muffler for the automatic, but was able to get a 5speed muffler, which is same length only the flange is reversed, so I was able to adapt it nicely with the help of a smaller napa exhaust donut and some longer spring bolts. My son sold me his 1994 civic for a winter car, which needed a muffler so the old aftermarket (like new) went to good use.

Yes I agree, I had a 5sp in my first 1986 accord 4dr LX which is really a great clutch/trans set up, so smooth. I'm so happy with this car, it's so clean it reminds me of having a new car. I value it at around 10K. I tried to get Hagarty to insure it for that value. But they thought I drove it too much and that it didn't meet the collector car requirements. I would be sick if I had a accident or a tree fell on my garage.

5084I have the factory cup holders, but have found they block the Radio and do not allow for the larger cups. I have located and purchased the following pictured508150825083

The third picture Yellow box is the best location I can find. But I'm skepticle with putting holes in my perfect interior side door panels. So I'm thinking of making a bracket similar to the one in this picture to be mounted inside the map pocket being a less visible location in the event the cup holders would break or decide not to use any longer.

FYI: the cup holders are made by Fisher (sold by Modifry), I paid $14 ea and the brackets where pricy at $23ea thats why I'm thinking of custom designing my own. They seem very high quality and do a great job holding most cup sizes.

The plastic in my map holders has gotten brittle over time. It might just be the incredibly hot Fresno sun that's done it. Just be careful as putting a torsional load on them might cause them to crack. Whatever you do, please don't drill into those exquisite door panels!

I read you on that,,,,, I was thinking of covering a similar bracket with non-maring cloth, then fastening it thru the door panel below the level of the map pocket, also using a backer plate. This would require the removal of the door panel of course. If anyone has a better idea or input. I'll listen, thanks for the input....

Wow.. I can't believe this is the first time I am seeing this thread. You have a great looking coupe. The seats look like they turned out quite nice too, I really like the contrast stitching. I wish I had leather seats that weren't all cracked, one day...
