View Full Version : Carbon Fiber Flip-Ups - Are You Sure?

I know some of you want me to ask the shop owner who is doing our CF hoods if he'll do CF flip-ups for our lights. I thought I wanted the flip-ups with my hood too, until I saw this picture. Now I'm not so sure.

Man, that looks good.

just paint the flip ups black, or get some carbon fiber overlay, its that simple...

with carbon fiber headlight covers our cars hood/ front will look like a square and that to me won't flow good at all, The car justs looks better with the CF hood

on my 87 accord i think that the little "eye brows" on the flip-up lid looks like carbon fiber already. thats wut everyone tells me. do yall think so? i think i does.

I still want you to ask. Our cars flip ups are not like that mr2. The mr2 has smooth flat light covers. The accord lights are a little more klunky looking.

When all the hoods are out if you could ask him about it I would appreciate it. Also ask him if he'll do just one set for me if no one else is interested.

If the shop doesn't make the flip ups or are not interested in doing that I'll just have to wait until I paint the hood.:(

those dont look anything like carbon fiber man, the people you talk to are just idiots.. :cool:

ah yes. i do think they is idiots but i dont tell them that. hahaha. ya i seen that blue carbon fiber in some new gauge faces for 90 and up accords. too bad i havent see any for 3geez yet. just he bezel.
