looks good Chronic! I am definitely diggin the ride, I like that kaminari spoiler. What kind of drop springs you have? what kind of muffler? Can you post pics of the rear lower strut bar and what car is it from?

once again clean ride!

the spoiler came in wings west packaging believe it or not, i bought it from erebuni.net about 3 years ago. springs i have sprints, with blues all around, ST sway bars front and rear, thing handles like its on rails. its absurd.
the muffler is a AC revoltion, im actually going to replace it very soon, Jim how did you like your muffler? im thinkin HKS hyper, Apexi N1, Es Oval or some sort of magnaflow

very nice. it looks great. but its a DX model isnt it? not a bad car though. the only way i could tell was the black door handles and no power mirrors. but those black door handles do look just perfect with the red paint. at first i thought it was a prelude but i didnt look but for a second. i like it.

nice nice..
why ca6, ca3?

DarknessRS

CA6 is the chassis code for the 3G Accord coupe. Like how the RSX chassis code is DC5, and the 6th Gen Civic Hatchback is the EK9. (I had the chassis code in my old sig :))

How did you get it to fit with that jacking point in front of the area the bar is supposed to mount to?

You gotta be on crack to sport wheels like that. Your ride is ok, but the wheels ruin it man. You should check into getting some actual wheels for your ride, other than that it's ok.....

i like those rims. what's wrong with them? they are light and not designed to look good. being spoon replicas they are supposed to perform good, not look good.

He must have bought one off 88turboaccord (justin from administration on the board). Every now and then he will offer a few of them on the board in the market section. If you interested pm him and ask him when he might be getting around to making some more. POS carb (eric) has one of them also.

He said he has a rear lower strut bar, not a rear upper strut bar.

Thats why I'm wondering how he did that.

Lower? Civic's need them because of how they are built. Because of how OUR cars are built, they are pointless. Crawl under both cars and look and you'll see what I mean.

THats part of the reason I'm wondering.

I know the civics an tegs suspension bolts right up to the body and thats why they can benefit from one. The accord on the other hand has a frame for the rear suspension thats bolted to the body.

where are you from?

chronicsinners
10-30-2002, 08:15 PM
west chester, pa. As for the upper rear strut tower bar i made it with a welder and a bar for a 4th gen accord, overall it was a pain and i had wish i bought one from justin.
The lower strut tower bar, i used a generic one from ebay for a 92-95 civic, used the brackets backwards and then attached the bar. I bought it because i like the look of it from a distance, as for actually increasing suspension performance, the car seemed a little more stable and didnt creak as much when i jacked it up. The frame is not quite as "wishbone" like of the civics, but it does seem to have a little frame cavity. if ya know what i mean...
