isnt autocrossing like rally on pavement? then if it is wouldnt u want the sidewall to be as small as possible? and if weight is an issue... ROTA makes light as shit wheels...

Looks Good!! Good Choice on the rim size!!! PPL Just don't get it!!! The bigger the rim, the worst the ride especially for street racing conditions!! Not all streets are in perfect condition!!

Those rims are awesome, I bet they weigh next to nothing (being Volks and 15"). That is one of the cleanest SI's I've seen, it must fly with a Type R motor in it. You must kill at the autoX! btw, nice recaros too!!!

Damn you are lucky as hell. I was expecting to hear it was completly stripped. The motor alone it worth alot so if someone spent the time to steal it i would think they would have taken more. They took more out of my car in a mall parking lot than they did yours.....and put a hole in my door and ripped the ignition out. I would say get Lo-Jack even though im not all that impressed with it you would have some responce faster than someone finding it.

ok, here's the real solution

Let's see that car pictured along with that red type R that that kid supposedly bought. Otherwise, I'm posting a link to this thread on that thread. Also, tell Jay to post something on that thread letting everyone know this story that you told us.

I'm not an asshole, I'm just looking out for all the other guys out there (me included) that have had their cars stolen along with all their blood, sweat, and tears that they put into making it.

Go and buy a DX Civic, pay Macco to paint it bright ass blue, and bring ur cookie cutter shitbox down to the local show to get laughed at. Then and only then, will you understand why we here on this board choose to keep our cars. I own my 3G b/c, although yes it is old, it has it's own character to it. There's virtually no aftermarket support on these, therefore anything that needs to be done gets done by hand. Now what's been done cannot be duplicated with ease b/c you cannot just go and buy that piece out of a catalogue. Talk to one of the 3G members that might show up at a local show, and if they spend any time here, they will know more about their car then you do ur's.

And ur right, we're all broke, that's why we own a 3G. Hmmm, last I checked, my income tax statement for yr.2001 said that i made just over 73K that year. Yep, I must be broke! Dumbass! I paid more in taxes last year then you made! Get off this board. When you actually have something to contribute, or a Q that needs to be answered, then visit us again, but don't just log in, post a pic of someone elses car, and try to pass it up as ur's just to see if all us 3G owners will drool over the site of a Civic. That car is nice, do me a favor and when you run into the owner, let him know I said that.
