Hi guys, here I am again :D

Now the new question is wich brake rotors and pads is the better for the SJ sedan
I think the EL1 and the EK1 ones uses the same brake system so in a quick search I've found these ones

Aimco 3133 Front Brake Rotor Disc | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/AIMCO-3133-Front-Brake-Rotor-Disc-/170932102715?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AHonda%7CModel%3AAccord%7CYear%3A1979&hash=item27cc58e63b&vxp=mtr)

Centric Parts Disc Brake Rotor 121 40002 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Centric-Parts-Disc-Brake-Rotor-121-40002-/380614865024?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AHonda%7CModel%3AAccord%7CYear%3A1979&hash=item589e69f080&vxp=mtr)

Bendix Brake Pads Honda | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bendix-Brake-Pads-Honda-/190827279470?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AHonda%7CModel%3AAccord%7CYear%3A1979&hash=item2c6e31346e&vxp=mtr)

Centric Parts Disc Brake Pad 102 02260 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Centric-Parts-Disc-Brake-Pad-102-02260-/130884226337?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AHonda%7CModel%3AAccord%7CYear%3A1979&hash=item1e794ecd21&vxp=mtr)

I'm almost sure that I'll buy the pads from Bendix, I use them on my GD3 Honda Fit and they're just fine, works with perfection :)

I'm in doubt about the discs brand, I don't know these brands... Are they reliable?
I really need to replace mine, the left side overheated once , even smoke come out of it ... my brake piston was rusted , and since then I hear a sinfony every time that I drive my 1gee baby...
So new rotors is a must haha

Thanks!

I haven't heard of those either. The rotor is essentially a big chunk of steel. I would think it would be hard to screw it up, so brand shouldn't matter. Just turn it before putting it on for the first time so it doesn't cause brake wobble.

Rock Auto stocks Aimco. I go for Raybestos whenever possible but these look OK. Here's the info:

More Information for AIMCO 3133 (http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=1996444&cc=1166554)

Rock Auto has them for $15.49 so that eBay price is fair.

EDIT: Make sure to get the shims and a hardware kit as well. You're going to want to replace all retaining clips while you're in there.

You should get ceramic for $10 more:

76 82 Honda Accord Civic Disc Brake Pad Spectra One SPD130M New Free Shipping | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/76-82-Honda-Accord-Civic-Disc-Brake-Pad-Spectra-One-SPD130M-New-Free-Shipping-/370611544155?)

Thanks!

I think that for now I will only buy the pads, I'll see of I can rebuild my original rotors

All you can do is get the rotors turned. You do understand that to replace the rotors the hub has to be pressed out by a machine shop, right? You'll have to pull the axle and it may trash your wheel bearings. You might just want to have a shop do your brakes so they can use the machine that will resurface the rotors while they're on the car.

If you're just doing the pads get the hardware kit for $8:

1976 1979 Honda Accord 13035 Front Disc Hardware Kit | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-1979-Honda-Accord-13035-Front-Disc-Hardware-Kit-/150603413858)

and the shims for $12:

Beck Arnley 084 2000 Front Anti Squeal Kit | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Beck-Arnley-084-2000-Front-Anti-Squeal-Kit-/130893819162)

Otherwise your brakes are going to chatter and/or vibrate.
