Met Alan a couple times. Great guy, was extremely nice and pretty soft spoken. Rest in peace Alan, you went out doing what made you happy.

oh Jesus, why does this shit have to happen. He was a very cool guy. Shit Vinny, that's him helping out with my car at my house the last time the damn thing saw the light of day.

R.I.P. good buddy. The 3Geez community lost a great guy.

Be safe out there everyone.

We have been lucky enough to not experience this kind of news in our community in a long time - if ever, which makes me even more unprepared to hear it now. Alan was a terrific member and by all accounts a wonderful person. I'm very sad to see this happen.

I'm also sad to hear him pass away. I was glad to meet the other forum guys like jean, mark , jim and Alan at the honda day meet (attempt lol) we tried having here in NJ years back and the BBQ we had at my parents place. Even my father ( who sadly is also not with us anymore) enjoyed the company of the forum members and thought highly of them without having the interaction that I have with you guys on the board. He was a cool guy, sad to see another one of us go like that. Wish we could find a few parts from his old car and have it as a small memorial piece where his remains may rest.

Alan rest easy friend....

That newspaper story was such a kind tribute to the man, i am so impressed and grateful for the story... We should all be so appreciated after we're gone by a heartfelt downhome report like that one. It goes a long way in reflecting the honor and respect Alan earned among his peers.
