I think he is talking about a cold air intake....maybe?

He means K&N, or cone filters in general... anyways with a custom cold air intake and filter you will get some power.

with just the drop in performance filter, maybe not as much.

a noticable difference?
I'm running a stock A20A4 engine, with an auto trans.
I don't think i'll be seeing a great difference.
