Hey, I'm Becca from England, UK. 22 years old :]

I picked up my first ever Honda about a week ago, after driving a 1ltr VW Polo Breadvan for the last nearly 5 years.

It's a 1986 CA5 Aerodeck EX, A20A2 engine, and I am absolutely smitten! It's only done 44k miles from new!

Only 3 parking dents on the whole car, but unfortunately rust has got to the arches so it's going to have a bit of work before I get it on the road! ;]

I'm new to this Honda malarkey so be gentle! I'm used to simple little vw engines haha!

Haha thanks everyone! Looking forward to my time here as everyone seems lovely! None of this silly car-bitching that we get on a lot of the UK forums here about who has the most money or the best air-ride set up ;]

I'm pretty new to all this Jap stuff, but always been a fan - and have a bit of a... wheel fetish... especially old JDM rims, just don't ask me to name any haha!

This is my other car, that I've had for almost 5 years now [first car] mainly because I could never find anything I quite liked as much til now!

Don't worry, the Accord is going to be much cleaner than this haha! The Polo is only a 1ltr so I thought I may as well have fun with it, plus I love seeing kids get excited over all the stickers!!! :]

As you can tell I'm a bit of a sucker for estates too haha! Both cars are actually quite similar in shape and proportion, just from different eras ;]

I'd also quite like to test fit those rims on the Accord, although they're 4x101.6 so if anyone can help me out how I do that with studs...?

I run them on the Polo [also 4x100] with wobble bolts and spigot rings at the moment, they're 13x6 et13 so a fair bit of poke on the little dub, and probably a bit too underwheeled on the Accord but I'd like to try to get a set in 14" and have them split and widened to 7 or 8J. They're pretty rare though, if anyone can guess what they are I'll post you out a free sticker from my club Sitting Pretty. [www.facebook.com/sittingprettyeu]

44K miles? whats that in Kms? 62 miles to the 100 Km so that would be.... (counts on fingers) something like 70K Kms? thats a pretty low mileage car for a '86. My JDM '85 EX-S had done 246,xxx when I hitched down to pick it up, now 247,xxx already.

Pics won't load on rural dialup, but low miles and only 3 dents sounds a good buy. Rust shouldn't be a big problem if you use a phosphate acid rust converter.

Well...

I managed to persuade the other-half to buy a 'spare' Aerodeck after months waiting for one to come up - so we went halves and he'll have all my crap bits and use it as a daily and I'll have the good bits ;]

We've already swapped the wings over...

And then masked his up and painted it NATO green military anti radar paint [supposedly £100 a tin, but we found it on the shelf 7 years out of date and it went on pretty well!]

It's still got holes in the wings [my old ones!] but it's going to be a bit of a beater kind of drift-missile inspired ;]

The wings I had off it had been undersealed [mine hadn't] so they're mint, the whole car just needs repainting original silver now but updates will be a little slower as I plan to spend a lot of time making it mint and don't want to rush things, especially paint! :D

Bought myself a pair of new front seats, these were an absolute bargain after being told I was looking at £200+, I paid £10 for them with local pick up. They're fully electric adjustable.
