Motor Mounts?

So as far as i can see i cant find no really " aftermarket " motor/engine mounts for my 89lxi i was thinking of running just a solid alltread piece upfront with bolts to bolt it to the frame/engine mount. so it will be completely solid pretty much upfront. what you guys think?

The total cost to do both front and rear mounts is about $100. The poly pieces themselves are stocked by many auto parts stores for around $30 and are available online for cheaper (but figure on shipping). I just sell the adapter brackets to make the poly mounts fit the Accord cross member.


The solid mount idea will work but it will transmit more vibration to the rest of the car. The poly mounts will too but not as much as a solid mount.
