View Full Version : anyone with a centerforce dual friction clutch??

i just went to the local import shop to see how much i could get a clutch for and they said they could get me a centerforce dual frictiono for 260..... i was wondering does anyone have this clutch.. if so how do you lilke it and how much did you pay for it??

Thats a decent price. I think they usually go for around $300. Personally I don't like them. Then I like something harsh like the act. The center force doesn't feel much diferent then stock. (I used the centerforce in my corolla, so I'm just speaking in general).

i heard that the centerforce clutches use stock pressure plates. most other companys use heavyier duty pressure plates.

yea i just checked nopi... bout to go back to the shop tho cause they said if i find it cheaper they would try to beat it

You can get the kit for around $200 on the net, but that doesn't include the throwout bearing. I think the throwout bearing for the clutch is about $50. A stock throwout bearing won't fit right with the Centerforce kit. If the shop's quote includes the throwout bearing, go for it. You'll save the shipping costs.
