would you spend the extra money ($1,500) for a deck with a harddrive in it?

it accepts MP3 discs, MagicGate memory sticks, along with of course the internal 10 gig HD

it's not like i'm gonna run out and buy one, but i just wonder if the shit would be worth 1.5 geez and would it be worth throwin it in where it's market value is higher than the car itself...

You could definitely hook up a used laptop for a lot less then that... But yes, a head unit with 10gig would be cool

well, i'd say other companies have HDs in thier H/Us by now... i'm just pretty much talkin the concept all together


BTW, the moble ES that sony puts out (the higher x-plod line) is good... the speakers , subs and amps are average, but the decks are good

Personally I wouldn't spend 1500 on a mp3 hard rvie for the car. I admit it would be damn cool but i would rather spend 350 on a good mp3 cd player and then burn a bunch of mp3 cds for about a dollar a cd and then i would buy a visor cd holder and viola for about 400 dollars you can do the same thing a 1500 mp3 machine can do. :tongue:
