SEE IF ANYONE OF U GUYS CAN FIGURE THIS ONE OUT. MY TAIL LIGHTS AND BRAKE LAMP STAY LIT WHEN I SHUT THE CAR OFF, I CHECKED FOR BLOWN FUSES AND DIDNT FIND ANY. BESIDES IF THE FUSE WERE BLOWN THERE WOULD BE NO LIGHTS, ANYWAYS I NEED HELP. IM STARTING TO GET ANNOYED HAVING TO OPEN THE HOOD AND PULL OFF THE BATTERY WIRE SO THE LIGHTS WILL SHUT OFF. NOT TO MENTION HOW FUCKING EMBARRASING THAT SHIT IS

Maybe the spring on the brake pedal or something relating to the break pedal being pressed down ?

He might be right. There is a touch switich that the brake pedel arm hits it and turns off the brake lights. When you press the brake, the arm disengages the switch. Your brake pedel arm might not be touching the switch. Try to look under the dash and see whats up.

I agree with this one. It happened to me before (different car) and it was the spring on the pedal holding the pedal down.

the brake sensor on the top of the brake pedal might have a bad internal short. Swap it. See if that works.
