The Matrix '94 - '00 GSR intake fit on my accord with a Matrix tornado filter.... It was the "mega tube" one, looks pretty kick ass

Which one is it, at short ram or a true cold air intake?

How did you guys go about mounting the tubing? You didn't just attach it to the throttle body and that's it, did you? On most intakes, there is a provision to mount the intake to the body sheet metal, though I don't see that in the How to article.

Any input?

Mine isn't mounted to anything either, but it would be very easy to fab up a little bracket, but there's not really a point.

The reason i ask is, I have an AEM intake on my Spec V, had one on my 240SX, and under load, the engine has significant engine movement. Granted, both engines were designed as torque producers. But my concern is that the piping will be moved around in the engine bay, when the engine is under load, and will damage the piping as it passes through the fender.

Whaddaya think?

The mega tube was just a shorter tube... but it comes around to about the battery and sticks behind the fans for the radiator and sounds pretty cool, its a smaller battery so it fits better than a car with a standard battery. Looks like a gigantic chrome trash can under the hood, lol
