OK.. i don't know if any of you have this problem:

I drive an 89 Lx-I Accord automatic. When I'm sitting at a stop light the steering wheel and the car vibrates.. a lot. It stops if I put it into nuetral and sit there.. but that's kind of annoying. I went and got a tune up and the vibrating lessened.. but I want to get rid of it completely, does anyone know how?

A friend of mine had an old Mazda Protege (sp?) that did exactly the same thing so I'm curious what it is too.

Have you tried increasing the idle speed a little? I think there is an adjusting screw on the throttle body.

My car idles just a little below 1 when it's warmed up.. when I just get started it idles just above.. It vibrates both times just as much..

Motor mounts are the rubber bushings that isolate the engine from the chassis so the whole car doesn't vibrate with the engine. Our cars have one on the front and one to the left of the engine. The rest don't really wear out since they're solid.

It shouldn't vibrate at those rpms. I'm thinking mounts too. The Mazda I mentioned before dropped to really low rpms in D compared to N.
