Guys looking for JDM sidemarkers

I've been getting tons of e-mails and PM's from members asking me to get them a set of JDM sidemarkers. I also saw a post somewhere saying "He can't find anymore for some unknown reason" so I thought I'd make things a bit more clear.

Just to make everyone aware, the reason I got the 6 was because I knew there were guys who had some shipped in from Japan a couple years ago (they also sell JDM engines and misc front clips). I knew they have been sitting in their storage waiting for someone to buy them so I went there and offered to buy all of them if he gave me a good price and he did. He was happy to sell them and he was surprised with the quickness of everything happening. So he said he will look for some more along with the Aerodeck ones I told him about but who knows how long that will take. If he ever does get anymore, you guys will be the first to know.

i have a question along those lines... how about ordering new ones from the honda dealerships there? then they'd be new even though they could cost A LOT more... i personally would be willing to pay extra to get new stock JDM or aerodeck corners, and/or possibly the taillight assemblies...

Thanks for rubbing that in for all the guys who don't have one LOL. Anyways, Jason at SPI also asked if people were seriously wanting them enough to pay for brand new ones so that's definetly another option too.

$100 isn't bad, considering they want something like $75 from the dealer to get a new lense(one) now...

$100 is the dealer price.. of course it'll be jacked up slightly more when you want it and then on top of that with shipping. So I would say ~120 or so

I can get new AERODECK corners from the local honda dealer.
They cost £85 GB pounds each ($128 US) each. plus shipping.

So, if I was willing to spend a lot of money I could buy them straight from a honda dealer in japan? I know shipping is going to be the spendy part isn't it? Does anyone know how I can contact a honda dealer in japan. Or can I go to my local dealer and ask them if they can get a set imported from japan? You would think a honda dealer would be able to do that, can't they?

Like I mentioned, I will let everyone know if I get anymore. It's only been like 4 days since I made this thread. Don't expect anything to come in for at least a few months. As for shipping, I ship stuff to Japan all the time and something like sidemarkers shouldn't cost that much. Probably about $30US by air and I would think that the UK would be simular. I'm not sure how many people would actually be willing to spend $260 for a set but if you guys get together and buy like 5-10 at once, maybe the dealer will knock the price down a bit. Probably wouldn't be much but maybe it's something to look into.

i want the euro corners my self. but if i cant get my hands on some i think i will custom make them just clear. i can take some off a junked car for realy cheap and keep the nice stock ones i already have just incase something happens. i can probley get some from my junk yard for like $10 more or less. but i am willing to pay big bucks for some euros.

not to sound ignorant or anything, but i cant stand the sidemarkers in general and have personally taken the bulbs out and am going to paint all the smoked parts on the front end black and only leave the reflector alone.... i just dont see the point in the lights, as for visibility, if someone cant see the blue emanating from the inside they shouldnt be driving

hrm, gets me thinking......I know a few ppl who make frequent trips to Japan to get 180sx clips, maybe i could get one of em to make a short side trip to go check out some used and new JDM markers....i'll check into it. That would also save the shipping costs i'll bet due to how small they are in comparison to their clips.

i tinted the amber part of my 89 corner lights to give it a custom look...ill have to get pics later...they look better tinted..dunno if its legal or not..but i havent been pulled over yet..hehe

Hey now that's an Idea make a bulk order to Japan for their JDM stuff. All I want thought is an all red tail light display now I'm shure that if a couple of guys asked for a big order all of these things could be obtainable. Post a reply on this Idea. I actually have a pair that came with mine when I bought the se-i a few months back. For the winter, a fellow 3g forum member replaced them with stock ones to keep them in good condition and so I have the jdm's bagged up...lol. For some reason, I like the stock ones more...perhaps I will sell them to him ;)

its an Australian site. has some stuff. only shows they can get the outer part of the JDM tails not the trunk lights. doesnt have the smoked corners, just the ones with the buldge thing in them. i looked there a while back. im interested in getting the complete JDM tails and smoked front corners and maybe the dark amber bumper lights.
