Maybe it's been around for a while but I came across this car with PPG paint and have never seen anything like this. I've only seen the kind like on TK's Accord and Mystic Cobras with three colors. It may not be to everyone's liking but that would sure turn my head. I wonder how much it costs. http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/News/select2185.htm

my uncle said that is at least a $12,000 paint job... lotsa prep, but you see the results... worth it if you have the money

is that the paint that changes colors depending on the way you look at it. Like from purple to yello to ROY G BIV? cause you can buy spray cans of that at walmart.. it would be a little expensive, but not 12,000. I'll ask my old boss how much it is. He paints cars.

My dad paints cars and I think the cheapest paint job he did like that was $11,000

dupont makes a paint exactly like that. its called chromalusion or something like that. i remember because a couple years ago i was watching a NASCAR race and jeff gordons car was painted that color. it had all those colors in it too.

I've seen the gold chameleon paint and a bunch of other three color chameleons but I've never seen something like this that changes so many colors.

Holy Shit I love it!! It is too bad that he wasted it on a '94 Rustang. But if I had the money I would DEFINITELY paint it this color. Man a nice set of chrome rims would really set off any car with that paint job.

It's a waste on a 94 Rustang GT but not on a 3rd gen Accord?? (don't flame, I just thought is was kind of funny).

LOL. I would rather spend my money on a '88 Accord than a
piece-0-crap Rustang. The paint is bad ass, and I am sure if the guy read the post he'd say "Why the fuck are these morons wasting their money on cars that are like 14 years old??" So you get what Iam saying. :flip:

No no, I understand. I just thought it was funny that depending on where you go, the opinion of if it's worth it or not totally changes.

well i should have been put on a 3gee i think. i havent seen too many of those paint jobs mostly in part because of their prices. i have seen a 2002 beetle around my town and a 98 eclipse. a few civics and del sol. but ya that paint isnt going cheap. personally i wouldnt want that on my car, but i have seen plently of nicer cars other than stangs with it.

Wow, a person who thinks like I do (seems very rare on an import board). I still think Stangs are a great bang for the buck car and it's not problematic like people are led to believe (can't really say the same for other Ford cars though....). It's not a very economical car but no one buys them cause they are economical anyways. Coincidentally, I was just browsing Roush's site since I really want the Roush spoiler. They make some sweet cars.
