View Full Version : Fuse keeps blowing where Dose this wire go???? picture attached

I have a 86 accord 2.0L carb'ed.

This fuse will last about 1-2 min then when this fuse blows it kills all power to my car. I have posted a picture of this is the fuse box under the hood on passenger side. Its the one in the top left. I don't have a fuse diagram to show what it even is.

That's the "Power Distribution" fuse. It appears to supply power to the interior fuse box. Seeing that you are blowing the larger fuse and not the smaller fuses in the interior fuse box, I'd say the problem is between the under-hood fuse and the interior box. Follow the white wire from the fuse and see where it's grounding out.

fuse number 25 40 amp in my book for 88 accords p26-18.

Just a guess but the carb heater is on fuse 12 i think.

pull fuses 5,12,2,3,1,4,10 replace 40 amp and add one in one at a time until it blows.
