I usually go online to majestic honda to look for parts but they remove them from the list when they aren't available anymore. Is there somewhere else that has all those diagrams that also include the part numbers so we can do our own search using the part numbers. That might be something we need to save on the wiki if possible.

You can get a hacked ISO image of hondanet 2000, that has everything up to 2002 maybe 2003 on some models. It will also show applications of the part number across other models. The only problem is that it won't have the most current super-ceded part numbers, if they've changed since 2003. It also won't run on 64bit windows unless you run it in a 32bit VM.

Is the hondanet a program repair shops used for looking up parts and how to do repairs. Was it ever for sale to the public? And dont tempt me on getting it running on a 64bit machine, I do IT so i bet i could figure it out.

It was the program that the parts guys had in their office to look up and sell parts. I've got the ISO somewhere if you cannot find it. Let me know, and we'll figure out a place to upload it.

It's old and has some 16bit (windows 3.1) code in it, so it won't run on 64bit. To run 16 bit code, windows uses WOW (windows on windows) libraries that provide backwards compatibility. To run 32 bit code on 64 bit systems they use WOW64. I guess to simplify things, they removed the WOW that allowed 16 bit code to work.

You can run it in a 32bit windows running in a virtual machine, so you could probably get it to run in XP mode on windows 7.

I downloaded it and yes its a 16bit program. So it will only work on 32bit windows. The picture quality of the exploded parts diagram is pretty bad, ill have to see if thats something i can fix or what.

Might be a good addition to the wiki, if you are successful and feel so led.

Try Honda Part | Honda Parts Catalog | Wholesale Parts (http://www.myhondapartsstore.com) or Honda and Acura online store: One stop shop for Genuine Parts and Accessories (http://estore.honda.com)

It would be neat, but not worth the money in my opinion. The hondanet 2000 cd has more current info than a parts book from 1994. And the CD will let you search by part number and see which Hondas it was used on, makes junk yard searches easier sometimes.
