Ignition Switch ??

Howdy,

My latest problem started with me thinking I had a fuel pump relay problem until I did a little more troubleshooting.

When I put the ignition switch to the "run" position I get nothing. No dash lights, no hum and click from the FP relay... nothing. When I turn the key about half way to the start position the dash comes alive... all the lights, a nice hum and click from the FP relay, and I can close the windows and moon roof (finally).

I start the car and then it dies. My mechanic friend (over the phone) said to try checking fuses first as it sounded like one had gone but I was receiving power momentarily from somewhere else but he did not know Hondas so...

I am thinking an Ignition switch.

Any thoughts ???

yeah, ignition switch is bung.
as far as i know, honda still make them and are available as a new item
