I need to know what each fuse operates and what size the fuse should be. (the panel under the dash) I know there is a pic on the backside of the change holder thing that flips down but mine broke and I took in into the house to fix the hinge on it and now I can't find it and I need to tell which fuse goes where. If anybody could post a pic of that picture of fuses or tell me in some kind of good way the ratings and operation of each I would be very grateful.

Check Paul's web site. If you don't know the link, go to my site under "links"
The service manual is in his site.

After downloaded around 50 mb of useless info I'm still at square one. I didn't see one illustration of the actual under-dash fusebox and the description of each item and the fuse it carries. I guess they found it more interesting to include stuff you never will need to know. I still need help to anyone who is interested in helping with the auto fuses under the dash. The diagram is on the backside of the little holder......can't somebody just look and tell me......or scan a pic of it and put in the faq?

I tried to take a digital photo of the box, but couldn't make ne thing you could use.
So I'll just type out what's on the sticker!
1) 15A fuel pump alternator
2) 10A turn signals back-up lights
3) 20A wiper washer
4) 7.5A auto cruise
5) 10A rear defroster
6) 10A r. headlight low beam
7) 10A l. headlight low beam
8) 15A l. headlight hi beam
9) 15A r. headlight hi beam
10) 7.5A (efi ecu) strarter signal
11) 15A (retractor unit)(rr foglights)
12) 15A cooling fan
13) 10A radio
14) 15A tail light(r) licence light
15) 15A (l. tail light)
btw that's from my 88 lxi sedan.
And since I couldn't get an actual pic here's a diagram of the fuse placement, if it shows up! In the blank spaces are spare fuses, a 30A, 7.5A,10A,15A, and a 20A. Hope it helps!
