Where dose this wire go??

I have an 86 accord hatchback with 2.0L

I have 2 black 12 volt wires with yellow strip. One goes to power the coil. The other is also a 12v wire. I have no idea where it goes.

According to the engine wiring diagram that goes to the IG pin in the connector that plugs into the regulator on the back of the alternator from fuse 1 under the dash. it also connects to one side of the charge warning light.

So it comes from the alternator? Alright great so where do I hook up this wire to? Its just kind of floating around in the engine compartment. Can you please post a wiring diagram? I cant find it in the manual.

The engine wiring diagram is on page 24-3 in both the 1986-1989 master manual and the 1989 USDM manual. The black and yellow wire goes from the alternator under the dash to one side of the charge warning light and to Fuse number 1 in the under dash fuse box.
