OK, it's not really very "Technical". LOL I guess I'm just being lazy by asking this. Anyway, I am planning some paint work and would like to remove the nozzles to facilitate the painting. Actually, I hope to negotiate with a man who does some auto and motorcycle painting at his home to get the cost down if I do a good bit of the prepping.

I suspect the old lines on the nozzles might split or break when I remove them. Hopefully, I can get some generic lines at the local auto parts store and cut them to size if necessary.

Are the nozzles held on by a clip under the hood or what?

The clips are part of the nozzles. there is also a pad that it sits on to let it clip in properly. You need to release the clips from the bottom of the hood Needle-nose pliers work to push both clips in at the same time the clips face front and back.
