My 1989 LXi. purchased two months ago, only 115k miles, one owner and clean...clean...clean only needs dings and scrapes from body refinished. Added new 15" wheels and kumhos Ecsta 4x tires. redoing sound system and them off to body shop for paint and clearcoat. it rides like new, feels like new a rare find on craigs list. now I have two LXi 89. both green and in tip-top shape!!

Added some pic of my 89 lxi :flash:

Dope finding a low-mileage engine. Not sure about the EXSE wheels, but at least they're OEM.

Can you tell me the color code for the paint on your car? I am seriously thinking about a paint job for my 88 LX-i and also a possible color change and I like the color of your car. Also, does it have a double black pinstripe?

Hello Folks. just found another 89 LXI. only 126 miles on it and a clean title. I bided on Coparts online auctions & won the bid at $300. cost me $400 for doorstep delivery plus auction fees. total cost $1100.00! it runs and everything is good so far with no issues. Just doing major inside detailing, engine cleaning, val gasket next I'll inspect suspension and so on. now I have 3 LXI's

I was not aware of that auction. Are a lot of cars sold on it?

Yes, every day. just search for what you want. these auction are going on in many states. you have to go through a broker if you don't have a license to buy from a dealer auction. Broker fees run about $250 plus low cost subscription which you can cancel at anytime you want. Salvage was great. all details upfront. good communication and all paperwork quickly emailed. they paid Coparts as soon as payment was received. the site also link you to shipper who pick up and deliver the car to your house. Just make sure you keep the distance range and cost in mind when biding if you need this service.
