Here's some news for the restoration buffs. Dorman has created a line of OE replacement radios. They match your factory radio in size, appearance and connections, but they include an auxiliary jack on the faceplate for your MP3 player or smartphone. There's nothing for Honda yet, but here's hoping that in time they will correct this oversight.

I saw these on rock auto the other day, I wonder if they will make them for the older style Honda radios?

Let's just say I'm hoping, but not expecting. It can be so bewildering buying an aftermarket stereo. There are so many options and most of them are absolutely impossible to use, with poorly labeled buttons and hidden functions. Some are completely distracting with bright, constantly flashing LEDs. I'm surprised that there aren't more accidents from people trying to figure out how perform basic stereo operations. Some sound positively awful. All things being equal, I think most people would just as soon get an OE replacement. I'll bet there's a big market out there.
