Got some OEM goodness delivered for the 83 sedan today. I thought I would share some of the exciting pleasure of opening this "crate". Picked up these rad parts from a very fevent gentleman off of thisoldhonda.com. He relieved some spare parrlts taking up space in hia garge and so happen to have a few parts I have been looking for. He shot out a fair r price and they were delivered well in time a week later, very nicely packaged. The package weighed 80.5 lbs!
Some of these parts will go toward the repair of the rear end collison from December of 2012.
The exhaust im going a little outside the box and going to split the piping after the resonator pipe and create a dual exhaust system. The other muffler will of course exit on the drivers side. I want to not go to crazy and still maintain a stock feel and look just give the rear end a little more pop! Thus may turn out well, or it may look tacky or ricey. I am hoping it will be a suttle enhancement to the look.
Ive scoped out the exhaust setup under the car and it should be able to fit nicely with minimal modificstiins to the piping. it will hop the control arm just like the current exhaust setup. Then I will weld new hangers on th muffler and flip it 180° to have the tip coming out closest to the rear driver wheel.
I may go back to the original radio just to hook up my rad ass equalizer. this coild be fun to play with! I need my console piece though. Hazwan has what I need I just need to fork out the change. I am most excited about the Bosch foglights. I will need to seek out the glass lens on ebay that needs replaced.I will continue my hunt for the Honda Covers, but these babies are hard to cone across and usually very pricey =0
