ok,
my car starting to act funny again. it won't hold RPM. it would go up and down all the time.
a few month ago i had to replace my distributor because it wouldn't hold any RPM.
So what can be the problem with my distributor. Why am i frying them?
you don't think it is because of the accel coil?
well, any help would help a lot.
thanks guys.

if you mean that your igniter gets fried.......normally....the main culprit for igniter failure is Heat......hows the operating temp of your engine?

...it won't hold RPM...
which RPM, idle or 3000 ?
If there is something fishy with distributor, it might be the high voltage side, i.e. cup and rotor. My cup didn't last 3 month either, noticed fine cracks inside...

well, i should told mention this, i don't have choke on my car or any vacuum stuff.
i just got home, and before i pulled into my subdevision my car started to adle at 2000rpm(i had to turn it to make it run half way disent), so i turn it down and it fine now. i have no fucking clue what happed. may be something inside distributor got stuck or something.
anyway, i am gonna switch to Toyo distributor, Hitachi sucks.
