At the beginning of the year I went to my hometown 1000 miles away and drove my car of course, I had no issues at all so now I am going again this coming weekend. 2/3rds of the trip is thru the USA I-10 and 1/3 thru Mexico roads.
The only difference this time is that I recently bought a R/C quadcopter with a camera (not HD or anything) but the videos are pretty decent.
Since this is a pleasure trip I plan to stop a couple of times and fly my quadracopter up in the sky and record the landscape. I am not a very good pilot so don't know how long its going to last before I break something and can't longer fly it.
I am building a bigger quadcopter from scratch that will be able to carry my HD handycam, however, the parts I ordered didn't get on time before the trip. Still, it must be funny. Even if the quadcopter gets damaged I can still use the remote control camera and attach it to the car while I drive and record the trip from unusual angles. Let's see what happen.
