need measurements

What's up everybody? I was wondering if some of you could help me out. I need to know the dimensions of the stock resonator box (the one under the battery) and the typical dimensions of a conical air filter (ie: K&N filter). Things I need are length, height, diameters, etc. This is for a project I am doing. So if any one you guys can help me out that'd be great. Thanks a lot.

You trying to make a cai with the cone filter where the resonator used to be at? It fits.
If you still want the resonator dimensions, I'll get it for you later.

Yah, that's basically what I'm going for, but being an engineering student (hence the screenname) I tend to do things precisely. Ie: Using exact measurements and calculations (if necessary) But anyways, if you could getme those dimensions that'd be great.

5.7 x 5.8 x 8.7 inches
somewhere around those lines...i wrote it somewhere but didn't bring it with me today.

Actually, it's not 8.7 but 7.7 in.
You can fit alot in 1 in.
And those are max values (longest for each side)
