cam question

I have a 88 LX that I am going to put a reground cam in. I need to use my car while the cam is being ground so i need to get another cam. I found a cam out of a carbed 87 accord and I was wondering if this would work? Could I send out the cam from the 87, have it reground and then put it in my 88? Did they change the cam from 87 to 88?

They are the same. The 5 speed and auto have different part numbers but if it's the same type of tranny, all carbed between 86-89 are the same.
