I'm eager to see the difference between the resonance of having the intake manifold split (dual-plane):
Single 45 DCOE
Intake Runners #4 - #1
&
Intake Runners #3 - #2
SHORTER SPACED PULSES
and
Single 45 DCOE
Intake Runners #4 - #3
&
Intake Runners #2 - #1
LONGER SPACED PULSES
Firing order: #1-#3-#4-#2
Cylinder order: #4-#3-#2-#1
Normal 4-2-1 Headers use:
4-2-1 HEADER
Exhaust Primaries #4 - #1
&
Exhaust Primaries #3 - #2
but that is hard to duplicate with a single sidedraft.
4-2-1 HEADER
Exhaust Primaries #4 - #3
&
Exhaust Primaries #2 - #1
would be easier to make for both intake and exhaust.
And the 2 should resonate together.
I was also looking at the stock carb set-up
Dual-Stage 4-1 INTAKE
(It looks like 1-2-4, but all the cyliders still feed off a common manifold/carb barrel(s))
4-1 EXHAUST
Any thoughts?
