ive never had the valve cover off of my motor so im asking a very stupid question...... is the a20a3 a sohc or is it push rod powered?...... :omg:

No pushrods. The cam acts directly on the rocker arms to open and close the valves.

i feel kinda stupid asking this question but you dont know unless you ask..... this is my forth 4 cylinder, and the first one to have an overhead cam, my wifes 2.2 chevy motor is push rodded to hell, maybe thats why ive blown it up twice.... knowing that it's sohc, its time to buy a cam and port out a head.... hehehehehe
