Code 12 EGR Lift Sensor

Well i'm driving along and my PGM-FI light pops up. So i get home check my black box, and it flashes 12. I check the faq, it says it's the EGR Lift Sensor (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor.

Well i did a search on here about that, and nothing, cept for someone asking were the lift sensor was. So how do i check out this problem? what should I do? Thankx people

Replace it. 99 times outta 100 its the component that goes bad. Rarely do I see anything wrong with the circuitry. Pick one up at a J/Y for a cheap replacement, and if problem goes away, you might want to invest in getting a new one.

Yeah my other accord is giving the same thing but im too lazy to do it and i dont want to put any money into the car. I guess i will take it off my good accord since i plan on doing a swap over the winter.
