$300 for that reminds me of you asking $8k for your car a year back...you really need to keep this, it will add to the value and nostalgia of your car when you do actually sell it.

Does it have any mods? I have a stack 3 feet tall of the cleanest OEM decks you'll ever see.

No mods and none will compare to a MINT deck from an Accord with only 50k, but congrats on your collection.

I don't understand why you guys are being so anal about this, just because you don't have one in MINT condition doesn't warrant you get to downplay mine.

There's someone out there looking for one in this condition and maybe I'm posting this in the wrong forum judging by how Moderators are commenting.

Clearly, I didn't ask if you guys think it's going to sell at my asking price, also, I just bolded OBO (or best offer).

Thanks.

As a moderator, you're only encouraging useless comments, there is no way in hell you can get one in the condition mine is at a junkyard :uh:

I'm sorry, Yeah, I need a Factory Radio for my Accord, but I don't see myself paying anymore than $35, at most $40 bux w/ shipping (less if the condition is sketchy) for a 25 year old radio no matter what the mileage is on the car it came from. Age, weather, and normal use wear on the components of these units faster than the parts, say, for the electronic switch for the power antenna/aerial. The last two I bought; one was pulled from a 1989 when it had 65k miles on it. Stuck in a plastic water tight bag, and stored in an interior closet. Paid $10 bux for it. Worked great till my friend spilled cola down inside the cassette deck. The second one I pulled from a salvage yard and paid $17 bux (including tax and a $1.75 environmental fee) for from a 119k Honda Accord. Again weather, age, and use took their toll as the volume knob isn't working right (like the original one that I reinstalled in the car). Mine too is MINT in condition (not in operation) for having 152k miles on the car. I wish you the best of luck bud as I don't mean any ill words by this post.

It's perfectly fine to have your own opinion bud but I don't see why you felt the need/urge to post in a for sale thread if you don't intend to buy/make an offer

In my case, this radio is literally unused, the first owner, 60+ year old lady barely left any creases on the drivers seat...keeping that fact in mind, the radio along with all the other interior components of this car were literally factory new, untouched and unmolested to the point that the car still had a pleasant like new smell (the trunk had the strongest factory new smell).

$80 is fair for both parties as the new owner will enjoy an extremely minimally used factory radio, with no signs of wear.

Free bump :)
