I went out over the weekend and bought a new car. (new to me anyways) Im very excited about the purchase. I really want to tell you what it is but want to post pics first. I will give you a few of the specs on the car though to see if anyone can guess what I got. Here are the clues.

Engine: DOHC 4 cam 32 valve V-8
Horsepower: 282 hp
Torque: 295 FT/Lbs
Transmission: ZF 5 Speed Automatic
0-60 Acceleration time: 6.7 sec.
Top Speed: 149 mph (Electronically limited)

Now that you thought you had it figured out, here is the final clue....

It has 4 doors.

from those spec! I came to same conclusion!! 540!! Kewl!!! WOW 149mph? Some accords on this Board go wow 130!! mostly stock too :huh: Good Purchase!!

id say it was a 1995 745i or 745iL BMW.

hmm it may be one of those too. the drivetrain defninitely sounds BMW though

im thinking it's a sedan.... with a V-8.... hmm.... it's a Volvo 740 Turbo... either that or a Vette... maybe a Mustang 4.2L..... i bet it's a Corvette isnt it...??????

He said it had 4 doors though. I'm going to have to guess it's a BMW.

he said it has four doors. i would guess a Cadilac of some sorts. maybe a STS Northstar? Im not sure of the tranny tho. Its probably way off cuz i think they had 4 speeds.
maybe a 540iA? im still not shur!

No, its under the BMW line up. BMW's had the damn tranny that he is talking about. Its a big beemer, just dont know which one :)
