I just purchased a 89 gold accord 4 door w/220k miles. All new seals, gaskets, ngk pluggs, kyb shocks, cd player, all 4 kenwoods, & super clean all around. It's a solid running DD.

I was into hondas about 10 years ago when they were cool (jk). Since then ive been customizing harleys & classic American cars/trucks. USDM>JDM, gotta support your own fellas.

BUT,

Now that Ive got this ugly duckling, I'm lookin to freshen it up a bit so I'm not as imbarrassed to rock it.

PLANS:
- drop it 2.5" (I'd like it slammed but after reading the forum, seems like an expensive route)
- 15" - 18" gold or aluminum Enkei 92s ( I want them flush w/the fender)
- front lip (if I can find 1 to fit)
- fog lights in the lower grill
- stock fog lights modified to be day time driving lights
- center consol if I can find 1 to fit
- some other minor improvements

First off welcome. So the biggest rim would be a 17. With a 205/40/17 tire size. I myself have motegi mr125 17x7 100x4 and I wish I bought 14s instead do to more tire selection. But they look super clean. Next month I'm picking up some Volk racing te37 Rims and some 205/50/14 tires. But 18s are out of the occasion.

Thanks. I'm leaning towards a 15" but big dished rims look nice sitting flush on a slammed import.

Just be sure to check the rim offset. And remember to add the tire into the equation. To give yourself the rough idea.

Welcome to the club. A good 15x7 with like a +34 offset is a nice start. There are more aftermarket parts available than before for these lovely cars, so have some fun with it.
