Hello from NE Ohio

Hi i'm new here but I been checking these forums out on and off for a little while now. I own an 86 Accord LX with a Carb engine. Ill be posting a few questions here since I figure you guys could help me out more than Yahoo Answers or Google could.

I just moved out here recently. It's a nice little lay low spot. Only bad part is, it's like a ghost town here. If you wanna do any shopping you either got to go to Mentor or Erie PA. I'm still trying to get used to all the lake effect snow lol

And man, I can't imagine the lake effect. We get hit pretty hard where we're at. But Lake effect is nasty.

Well it's been nice out here the past few days, at least compared to last week. So I had a couple buddies of mine come do some work on my Accord, but out of nowhere today that lake effect hit. Everything is covered with snow again right now..

Yeah I heard that the weather was going to start getting sh*tty again here real quick. Not looking forward to it. 6 AM comes soon enough, let alone having to drive in the snow and cold.

Google has a WEALTH of knowledge, so much it's ridiculous. Yahoo...well, it's yahoo. If it's info for these model cars you need, you need this site. This is the knowledge hub for 3rd generation accords and pretty much the only one. Yea, you may can't figure out how kitty litter absorbs odor or at what temperature glass melts, but you can read up on how to rebuild your engine, swap a transmission out or change your brakes/calipers/rotors with a wealth of info in every category. Welcome aboard and enjoy the knowledge. Ask any questions.

Holy crap! Go Ohio. I am glad to hear we are getting a decent following in northern Ohio. We must get together this spring/summer. Maybe we could meet at Cleveland Cars and Coffee; lambos, ferraris, Porsches, and accords.

Yeah i'll post some pics tomorrow when this snow clears up a bit. It sucks because anyone i hire to work on my car has to be able to come to me since I have an idle issue and can't really make it too far down the road. And since I dont have a heated garage or a leveled driveway, it has too be worked on in the cold.. But I posted a question in the Carb section of the forums, explaining the symptoms to the best of my knowledge. If you guys could help me out I'd definitely appreciate it.

I used to live on Marbre CT off of dickenson road, the mall is now across from that road I think, never seen it, it was being considered back in 87 if I remember right

Looks like an Ohio Honda meet is starting to form. Does anyone know of other area Honda owners that are on this board? I know if we wanted to just get Honda owners together we all know plenty of others. I guess we should start with where would be a good place to meet??? C-town east, west, south; C-bus?
