Roof Rack taht Works

what do i need to make a thule Clamp Style Roof rack( skis) work... do i need to buy the bars too? anyone have aroof rack???? Help

I thought Thule rack comes with the cross bar for the front clamp and the back. In any cases, the clamp should be able to be adjusted to fit most car. That is what I did for my Thule ski/bike rack. Hope this help, if not reply and I'll try to get you a more detail picture.

with Thule racks you have to buy all the peices separate. but there are other types of universal racks that stap down and don't clamp. you have to pay a lot for Thule, but you get what you pay for. I bought a Thule rack for a Saab/Taurus at a garage sale and jury rigged it to fit my car. it doesn't work as good as it should probably, but it holds 2 snowboards at 80mph fine. so i got a Thule rack for like $20.
