Really need some help. I have an 87 Honda Accord . My carburetor has been taken off (out) vacuum hoses off, and then put back. BUT, the man (kid) that did it messed my car all up. I need to know how to put all the vacuum hoses on right. I can't seem to find anything like pics or a video to show me. I do not have money to take it to a shop. Besides, thats where all this started from, was a shop that charged me 298.00 to tell me there was nothing he could do for me. (can you say SUCKER). I guess because i am a GIRL he thought he could be that way. Well , he didn't get all his money.
I would like ANY help at this point. I really want my car back. If at all possible all i want is a step by step pic or video, where i can try to do this on my own. So if someone can help me or send me in the right direction would make this lady very happy.
Thank you,

this link should have handy info, but it sounds like you had issues before the shop and shop labor is high add to that good carb guys are bbecoming extinct in commercial garages. If you want to modify the set up there is another tbread sticky that shows how to eliminate many hoses and the best way is a Weber conversion (takes it to like three or four vacuum hoses)

beat me too it roodoo.
Is there a vacuum diagram sticker underside of the hood on these cars like domestics?
Could also do a google search for Accord vacuum diagram and use the images button Ill bet there is one out there.

If it makes you feel any better, I had a shop blow up a carb for me too and I'm a BOY!! Kudos to you for seeking help and learning to fix it yourself. If the vacuum routing diagram on the hood is gone, then there are a series of diagrams in the factory manual (http://geminiwebhosting.ca/1989AccordServiceManual.pdf), starting on p. 11-5 and continuing. Bear in mind that the manual is for the '89 model year and there may be some variations from your '87.
Good luck!

There shouldn't be too many or any differences at all from 1986-1987 to 1988-1989; I'm pretty sure Honda never really updated the carb'd engine knowing that they would cease to produce Accords with carburetors after 1990.
