NOTE: JDM engine harnesses are made for right-hand drive cars. It can not be used in a U.S. car, as far as plug n' play. RHD harnesses are only useful for their plugs and extra wiring.

ehh so are they saying american cars as in dodge and chevy or us honda models.

This is a serious inquiry:
How much for either a H23a1, manuel trans and ecu? Or F22 (dohc non vtec) manuel trans and ecu?
What (if possible, if ava.) would a lsd sell for with either engine?

And could you tell me outside of the total price, what shipping to 95350 would be?

(I am NOT interested in the H22 at this time)

Hmmm, I'm interested mike. The most interesting thing about that for me is the idea of working any inhancements in during any rebuild. But I came up a big fat ZERO for H23a1 performance parts, to I think that is wishfull thinking. Mike at best I'm 30 days out for having any possible money, if my dads estate is settled then. I will be debating the wisdom of low mile jdm engine cost vs. your rebuild. Thank you for your reply!

first i'm gonna say that in wut i'm about to say, i'm not trying to sell anybody on anything

If i where you i would definately buy a rebuilt engine and have the piece of mind that i know that the engine you are getting is fresh and will not have any problems. to tell you the truth it is hard to find JDM motors that are in really good condition. most jdm engines that i have seen with 30-50k on them look like engines that have over 150k on them. In japan they change their oil much less frequently, something like every 10k i believe. I find that very believable because they have very strick emissions there and must change the engine after like a couple of years, and most people probably just don't care about an engine that they are gonna have to change out in a couple of years or so.

oh and another thing is that i don't think they ever had the H23a in japan. just the F22b DOHC and H23VTEC.

just my 2 cents

the funny part of this post is that most people who replied to this post have LX (carbed) cars. and they want to drop B16 and B18 in them. man i would like to see B16 or B18 running on carbs.

Here's one for ya.

B20A (the ACCORD B20) w/ a manual trans. Dosen't have to come with ECU or wireharness, just engine and tranny.

Find THAT!

hahahaha thats a nice shit moon. Alex, if u just have a motor, u can have it running on carb despite the intake and exhaust systems right. i think thats what paul is doing with his B20 instead of going efi with his b20 motor, he is putting his carb on his b20. I might be wrong, but i dont know.

When you said cheap i would expect a B16A1 to be less than $1500. I can find B16A's for $1000-$1400 all the time.

rob...those usually only have a start up warranty...these have a 6 month warranty, tested and tagged, and he said almost all of them have less than 40,000 miles

MoonScryer

Yeah, it would come from the Accord Si, the Vigor of that gen (looks like an Accord), or something similar. B20 from the Prelude dosen't help, unless it's from the JDM 84-86 model year (85-87 here); some of them had B20's as well, same as JDM Accords.
