A quick check in!

Drove my 1989 Accord LX on a LONG road trip last week, Kingston, ON to Kissimmee, FL and back! Not a hitch at all, got between 30-35 mpg the whole way (On my winter tires!) , and added over 5000km to the clock. Never added a single drop of oil, everything went very well. She's got 195000 km on her now. Any ideas WRT service for 200K?

This was my first trip with my new sealed beam replacements and sylvania nighthawk bulbs, made a world of a difference in nighttime driving. It was certainly nice to only have to spend 40 dollars to fill my tank compared to 65 up here..

Anybody else not afraid to take their old 3G on nice long road trips?

I've done a couple ~700 mile trips in my 3G's, but never a trip with a comma. I would be so sketched out to have the car break down or just something go wrong...

I drove from tx to az, the. Az to ga in my car, with a torn axel boot and a mystery wobble in the steering wheel. Made it just fine. Got 32(ish)mpg average.

At 200 000 km, you should replace the timing belt and water pump.

T-Belt and WP were replaced at 120 000, planning on doing the T belt at 220-240 ish. WP, on the other hand I replaced two months ago.... I had the cover off the timing belt and all looks good in there so far.
