Hey ppl. this 3geez site is sorted.
I am 19 from England, i hav a 3rd gen accord '87. But mine isnt the carb version, its the 2.0 12 valve Programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI)version.
I want to know where i can get some good bodykits and perofrmance parts on the net.
Can sum1 please help out?
Also, does any1 know the BHP of this engine (A20A4 i think) and the BHP of the Limitid Edition 2.0 16 valve version??

120 hp for the 12 valve @5800, 122 ft-lbs @4400

The 16V Japanese version every one wants is 160 hp, but I think the UK 16V is different and only has 137 hp.

The B20A is DOHC. The euro version, the B20A2 (sounds right, but I'm not sure), isn't as powerful, but still has 2 cams and 16 valves. I think Honda had to tune it down to pass emissions or improve gas mileage, but I'm just speculating.

There is a lot of debate as the HP of the B20a2 engine.
The parts car I bought had the B20a2 engine (DOHC).
I have fitted the camshafts and a few other parts that I bought from a JDM B20a out of a 2nd Gen Prelude.
The only things that I could find were differant were the camshafts (slightly differant profile)
As for the other parts bore, stroke, head, valve sizes etc from the B20a and the B20a2 are all the same or at least measure the same.
I will be able to tell you all the wBHP (BHP at the wheels) as soon as I get a weber on it and the engine run in.

Do any of u guys know of any good induction kits/filters to boost performance for my accord??
I hav looked up on them and the only ones i can find are for the Vtec's and type R's and even those are not for the accords. only civic and CRX's etc.

any help would be appreciated.
Thanx

Make your own cold air intake. Instructions should be available on the how-to page.

If you don't want to make it you can get a 5th gen Civic short ram intake, but you won't get quite the same gain and you'll probably pay just as much.

Plareracing makes a Cold Air Intake kit for our cars too (people often forget that)

They are not cheap but definetly work well.

If you want a bodytkit, there are a couple companies that make them

Erebuni, Xenon, Kaminari and some other German company (I forgot the name tough)

Anyone isn's lazy like me and can find that company?

is it possible to get those engines imported? are those A20's??? or are they the b20?? that'd be awesome to get the a20's with that much power. Will they be a shoe in to our cars?
